U.S. ladies champion Alissa Czisny went from No. 18 to No. 16 with her victory. Also affecting this week’s rankings are the results from the 2009 European Figure Skating Championships. The International Kiteboarding Association (IKA) and the Professional Kiteboard Riders Association (PKRA) came to an agreement regarding the issues raised by PKRA prior to joining the IKA. It will be noted that IKA was sanctioned by the International Sailing Federation as the worldwide governing body of kiteboarding.
