The City of Manchester won the British Water Polo title after a nail biting final which ended in a sudden death penalty shoot out against Liverpool.

Its official, Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) is the winningest female ski racer in American history. The 24-year-old double World Champion secured her 19th World Cup victory Sunday with a super G win in Tarvisio, surpassing U.S. great Tamara McKinneys previous high mark of 18 established in the 1980s.
