America's WCSN (World Championships Sports Network) and the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) have sealed their partnership by signing a new, exclusive contract for the 2009 - 2012 Olympic cycle to ensure the broad distribution of the images from all the FIG events on television, online, and on handheld devices.

The funeral has taken place today of Jane Tomlinson at St Anne's Cathedral in Leeds. Hundreds of mourners watched the funeral Mass on big screens in the city's Millennium Square ; there were spontaneous applause from the crowds outside the cathedral as the cortege arrived, and some mourners threw flowers into the road.

All unannounced tests conducted by FIFA's doping control doctors at the training camps ahead of the fifth FIFA Women's World Cup in China proved to be negative. Eleven athletes won overall titles at the 23rd annual Kneeboard National Championships, Sept. 8-9, at Lake Pryor in McDonald, Tenn. The championships featured the nation's top kneeboard athletes competing for national titles in slalom, tricks, freestyle and flipout events.
