Here I am standing in front of the Aquarium of the Pacific, I am dressed in Brooks Vapor Capri knee length shorts and my Hammer tri top, it is 6am in the morning a tad cold as I watch the bike tour begin, being led by Tony Cruz (a pro cyclist & Olympian) I am really early for the marathon which starts at a more civilized time of 7.30am, but my friends son Ryan, is 12 and doing his first 26.2mile bike with his father.
