Englands Suzie Pierrepont survived her second hour-long marathon in 24 hours in the Womens Des Pyramides Open in the French capital Paris to claim a surprise slot in the final of the $26,000 WISPA World Tour squash event at Squash Pyramides in Le Port Marly.

Venus and Serena not only dominate the centre court tomorrow in the ladies final but they will also play Stosur/Stubbs in the ladies doubles. They defeated top seeds Black/Huber today in two easy straight set victories 61 62. Stosur/Stubbs defeated Medina/Pascual in three sets.

Serena Williams confidently defeated her sister Venus in straight sets to win 7-6 6-2 today to win the 2009 Wimbledon title. Serena was on fire throughout. Her serving was awesome. Serena takes her Grand Slam titles to 12.

Not content with winning just the singles title, Venus and Serena made centre court their own today defending their doubles title over Aussie pair Stosur/Stubbs. Anna-Lena Groenefeld partnered Mark Knowles to take the mixed doubles title at The Championships.

With today’s two wicket victory, England won their first one day international series against Australia since 1976. This is the first time that England has won three consecutive matches against Australia in an international series.
