World Number 1 Serena Williams stayed focus, even being down 64 40 to Victoria Azarenka, she kept believing and came back to win in three sets 46 76 62. Venus succumbed to Chinas Li Na, 26 76(4) 75. Williams, the No.6 seed, hadnt been past the quarterfinals here since 2003.
