(May 16, 2007) — U.S. Figure Skating announced today the launching of a new, free video features page on icenetwork.com that includes both on- and off-ice content from throughout the 2006-2007 season. Fans can check out icenetwork.com to see interviews of their favorite athletes, including Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen and World champion Kimmie Meissner, as well as special competition footage.
Icenetwork.com, a joint venture between U.S. Figure Skating and MLB Advanced Media, has the rights to U.S. Figure Skating’s interactive media properties. Fans can subscribe to icenetwork.com for $29.95 and visit the site for other multimedia content.

After viewing the free content, fans can choose to subscribe to icenetwork.com for $29.95 by clicking on the “Subscribe Now” button. Subscribers will be able to access all of the 2007 U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition season.
The video features page exemplifies the beginning of phase II in icenetwork.com’s coverage of figure skating from around the world. Next season, icenetwork.com will once again feature all U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competitions, including the 2008 U.S. Championships. As part of a new partnership with NBC Sports, icenetwork.com and nbcsports.com will combine to show all events at all levels at the U.S. Championships, both on a live and on-demand basis.
