COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado. Tarah Kayne and Daniel O'Shea, the 2014 Four Continents pairs silver medalists, will not compete at their Grand Prix Series events, Cup of China and Rostelecom Cup.
Kayne underwent right hip surgery on July 28 and has been progressing well with therapy and training. Although the athletes, their coach, Jim Peterson, and her medical staff are pleased with Kayne's progress, the team has not had enough training time to compete at this point in the season.
Kayne and O'Shea will focus on preparing for the 2015 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships, which will take place Jan. 17-25, 2015 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
