MT. HOOD MEADOWS, OR (Jan. 10) – USA rider Serena Shaw (Bondville, VT) grabbed the top spot Monday in U.S. Revolution Tour's halfpipe snowboarding contest Mt. Hood Meadows, OR.
The rider struggled with flat light all day but after a couple of days of snow the pipe was in good shape for Monday's contest. Shaw clinched the win after her first run with a front 7, cab 3, front 5, back 5, front 3, switch 5 fakie. Rounding out the top three women were Arielle Gold (Steamboat Springs, CO) in second and Jenna Dramise (Henderson, NV) in third.
The U.S. Revolution Tour continues on Tuesday with slopestyle snowboarding.
