The Samsung ISU World Cup Short Track series will consist of six events, divided into North American, Asian and European segments.
The series kicks off this week with the North American section in Salt Lake City , USA, on October 17-19. Referred to as the Samsung ISU World Cup Short Track series, six events are held from October to February. During that time the world’s best short track skaters from over 20 countries will compete for World Cup titles and prize money. At each competition the men’s and ladies races will be held over 500m, 1000m, 1500m and relays. Single distances determine the winners.
