Britain’s top female skier Chemmy Alcott made a safe return to racing on Saturday, January 24, less than two months after suffering a fractured ankle. She finished a creditable 47th in the FIS World Cup Downhill event at Cortina in Italy.
The British Champion is now looking forward to competing at the World Ski Championships in Val d’Isere from 3-15 February.
Meanwhile at Cortina, Chemmy will compete in the rescheduled Super G on Monday, January 26.
