For the 6th time LAAX host and organize the European Freeski Open and offers outstanding freeski performances on its mountain. From March 1 to 5, 2011 the European Freeski Open brings together ambitious rookies, amateurs and the professionals to perform in the perfectly shaped pipe and park on Crap Sogn Gion mountain.
200 freeskiers from 18 different countries and 3 continents are expected to the 6th edition of the European Freeski Open in LAAX. The best riders out of the qualifications in Slopestyle and Halfpipe will have the chance to compete with the world best freeskiers in the Semi-Finals, among them the European Freeski Open Champion Virginie Faivre (4 times winner).
Speed is no issue to reach a podium place and a part of the US$ 50.000 prize money at the European Freeski Open in LAAX. Incredible high airs, special combos and mainly the style of tricks and spins are important to get best scores of the judges.
