Erin Comstock (Salt Lake City, UT) owned the women's competition with smooth 50/50s, a frontside 540, switch backside 180 and a backside 180 for the women's crown. She was backed up by Beaman and Megan Ginter (Carnation, WA). Canadian Marie-France Roy nabbed the women's Best Trick title for slopestyle and another camera with a 720 truck driver.
The Abominable Snow Jam was the first stop on the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour (TTR). Riders were able to load up on TTR points during the halfpipe and slopestyle competitions, boosting their standings in the overall World Tour Ranking list. Next stop for U.S. Snowboarding is their annual camp in New Zealand were the Team train at Snow Park and compete in both the New Zealand Open set for Aug. 7-11 and the first World Cup of the season slated for Aug. 31-Sept. 1 in Cardrona.
