The Australian Diamonds have lost the first match of the Holden Netball Test Series. A fired-up Diamonds unit could not match the World Selection team with the internationals running out nine goal victors in front of a sold out ETSA Park.
The Diamonds will now have three days to re-group before they take on the New Zealand Silver Ferns at Acer Arena on Sunday 6 September. With the Ferns losing two of their three clashes with the World Selection the stage is set for both proud netball nations to restore some pride.
