World Pentathlon Championships in Moscow-Czech on top after fencing
The Czech Republic trio of Grolichova / Dianova / Kodedova have produced a fantastic fencing display to win the fencing discipline on the Women’s Relay with 44 victories. The British team of Spence / Burke / Prentice came in 2nd, winning 2 less bouts than the Czechs with the defending Champions Russia represented by Rimsaite / Struchtkova / Khuraskina finishing 3rd with 41 victories.
Hungary and Germany are well positioned in 4th and 5th place respectively in their hunt for the Women’s Relay World Championships title.
Great Britain and Hungary have the strongest swim team, so they will be expected to jump to the top of the leaders board after the next discipline.
