| U.S. Women’s Sitting Team Sweeps Finland The U.S. Women’s Sitting Volleyball team bounced back from Monday’s loss with an impressive 3-0 win over Finland (25-21, 25-13, 25-18) on Tuesday at the 2009 Eurocup Sitting Volleyball Championship in Roermond, Netherlands. The U.S. team dominated the Fins in all aspects of the game. "We played very relaxed and confident today," U.S. Head Coach Bill Hamiter (Bethany, Okla.) said. U.S. Women’s Beach Teams to Play in Moscow Three USA Volleyball women’s beach teams are scheduled to compete this week at the US $600,000 Moscow Grand Slam in Russia, part of the SWATCH FIVB World Tour. World champions Jen Kessy (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) and April Ross (Costa Mesa, Calif.) are ranked second after finishing tied for fifth in Gstaad, Switzerland on Saturday. They will open pool play on Wednesday against Japan’s Hiromi Suzuki and Shinako Tanaka, ranked 31st. After that, they will face Canada’s 18th-seeded Marie-Andrée Lessard and Annie Martin.
