Womens Gymnastics-Unite for HER Announces Gymnasts Unite Grants Will Double in 2011
West Chester, PA - October 20, 2010 Unite for HER nonproit organization is pleased to announce an increase in grants for 2011. The Gymnasts Unite Grant program was created to ease the emotional and inancial burden experienced by USAG women’s artistic gymnasts and their families due to breast cancer.
Our goal is to provide monetary support to the increasing number of gymnasts whose parent or sibling is a breast cancer survivor, is currently battling the disease, or who have lost an immediate family member to breast cancer. Funding for the Gymnasts Unite Grants comes from the Pink Invitational competition and outreach event, which is hosted by AJS Pancott Gymnastics National Training Center.
