Chelsea Women bring their amazing unbeaten home record of 12

As stadiums open to sports fans, the Women's Super League sees another record set on Sunday's match-day 8 game between Chelsea and West Ham. Sam Kerr added more to her goal tally with a splendid hat-trick that helped secure a win at home for the Chelsea team, extending their unbeaten home record to 12 and setting a new record for most successive home unbeaten games in the FA WSL.

Pernille Harder and Francesca Kirby were fantastic in the match as well. They contributed to Kerr's three goals, helping her become the NWSL and W-League's all-time top goalscorer.

Chelsea still held on throughout the match despite the own goal from captain Magdalena Erikkson and pressure from West Ham substitute Alisha Lehmann. This great victory has helped the club close the gap on present table leaders Manchester United to three points with an outstanding match.

Louisville Cardinals trash DePaul Blue Demons in a record-setting performance

The 5th of December was a wonderful Friday night to remember for the Louisville Cardinals.  The win would have been very difficult to achieve without the key 21 points scored each by Hailey Van Lith and Kianna Smith.

It was the highest-scoring game in Louisville history, surpassing their previous record against Murray State in 2017. Louisville was leading 30-24 after the first quarter, after which they added a whopping 25-6 to the scores during the second quarter.

One of the reasons for the Blue Demons' struggles in the match was their failure to secure most baskets behind the 3-point arc. Despite these struggles, a positive turn in the Blue Demons' gameplay led to a high conversion rate in their 37 free throws of the match.

A Match That Surprised The Bookies

Betting on women’s sports is extremely popular at online bookmakers. Women’s sports have some of the best odds and plenty of surprises. Anyone who bet the score margin for the Cardinal’s women’s game would have won a huge return, and this game also had plenty of free bonus bets from the bookies.

Bonus bets can be used on bets likely to come in, but many sports betting fans that receive free bets prefer to place it on a bet with high returns - one they would not normally bet because the chances of winning the bet are usually low.

Sports betting online today is admittedly fun. Bonus bets are just part of the parcel. For this type of free bet, there are various markets that are also fun to bet on. For example, you can bet on which player will score the most points, or which team. There are betting margins, so betting fans can bet the score will be 50-60 or 60-70 in the game. Plus, there are in-play bets offered, which means you can bet while the game/’match is in action, and often this also comes with live streams or update pages.

The Cardinals game surprised the bookies because they had long odds on the score, while the Cardinals won with their highest-scoring game in Louisville history with up to 40-1 odds paid out!

The U.S. Golf Women's Open finally kicks off this week

The famous U.S. Golf Women's Open tournament, which offers up to $1 million to the winner, will finally kick off this week at the Champion Golf Club in Houston after the body shifted it from June 4th-7th due to the global crisis.

Who are the favourites to win? Some would think that the top-ranked players are most likely to win, but this year could be different. You should watch out for players like Danielle Kang, Jin Young Ko, and especially Sei Young Kim.

Kim is the favourite on most sports betting sites, as she has won two tournaments already this year: the KPMG PGA Championship and the Pelican Women's Championship (which took place last month).
