Wife of HM the King Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Chairperson, will patronise the "Women’s Football Cup Arabia 2010 – On the road to Germany" co organised by the General Organization for Youth and Sports and the German Embassy at Al Ahli Stadium from October 18 to 28. 
Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq will take part in the championship attended by the German Minister of State Cornelia Pieper and Head of the Organizing Committee for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 in Germany Steffi Jones.
The winning team will benefit from exclusive training in Germany in the run-up to the 2011 Women’s World Cup, which will be organized by the German Football Association and the German Olympic Sports Confederation.
HRH Princess Sabeeka's patronage of the event is in line with SCW's keenness to upgrade women's sporting performance and participation
