The draw for the 2010/11 EHF Women's Champions League Qualification and Group Matches took place in the EHF Headquarters today. The major draw event including 30 European top clubs was attended by club representatives coming to Vienna for the occasion.
Qualification Tournament 1
In a first step, the organisation right of the Qualififcation Tournament 1 was defined: 1. right: IK Sävehof 2. right: T+A/VOC Amsterdam 3. right: LK ZUG 4. right: Gil Eanes/Lagos dos Desc

Qualification Tournament 2

The organisation rights were once again decided by draw. The teams in row 3 of each group have been drawn to possess the right to organise the respective tournament. If they decline, the right is passed on to the teams in row 1, then row 4 and finally row 2.
The four tournaments will take place on 17/18/19 September 2010.
Group Matches
The Group Matches are scheduled to take place on 9/10 October, 16/17 October, 23/24 October, 6/7 November, 13/14 November and 20/21 November 2010.

Please note, the Regulations of the 2010/11 EHF Women's Champions League include a basic playing schedule. However, this playing schedule may be modified following talks to media partners. The finalised schedule will be published in due time.
First two teams pass the round
The teams ranked first and second of each group proceed to the Main Round. The next draw event will take place on 23 November 2010.
