North and Central America is the second deepest Area in these middle distances.
Interesting to note that while altogether there are more Asian runners listed than Africans, the later Area has more runners in the higher sections.

North and Central American is the leading Area in depth in the 110/100m and the 400m hurdles, no matter if we speak about men or women.
Although Europe is not far in depth from the NACAC area, the simple fact is that North and Central America is represented in all four events by the most hurdlers in the incredibly deep All-Athletics.com World 2010 Top Lists.
