The cut. Morning clouds gave way to afternoon sun as 75 players made the cut at even-par 144 at the Ginn Tribute Hosted by ANNIKA. LPGA Tour and World Golf Halls of Fame member Karrie Webb (65-66=131) and four-time LPGA winner Sophie Gustafson (66-65=131) sit atop the leaderboard at 13-under-par entering Saturday's third round of play in South Carolina.
Gustafson carded a bogey-free day that included seven birdies – three from inside six feet. The Swede is looking for her first victory since the 2003 Samsung World Championship where she edged Ginn Tribute honoree Beth Daniel and Rachel (Teske) Hetherington by two strokes.
Starting on the 10th tee, Webb carded a birdie on 11 and a bogey on 14 before making three consecutive birdies on holes 16, 17 and 18. She eagled the third hole for the second straight day, this time with a 3-wood to 18 feet, and finished the day at 6-under-par 66.
