BANGKOK, Thailand (CIS) - Veronique Lemieux of Mascouche, Que. advanced to the 3m springboard final scheduled for Aug. 18 after finishing ninth in the semifinals on Thursday at the 24th Summer Universiade. Lemieux advanced to the final after posting a score of 281.30 points. During the preliminaries earlier in the day, Lemieux finished 10th with a score of 276.80 points.
