The University of Wisconsin remained in the No. 2 spot with 171 points and the remaining two first-place votes following wins against The Ohio State University. Mercyhurst College (148) climbed one position to No. 3, marking the first time it has been part of the top three since Nov. 13, 2007. Meanwhile, the University of Minnesota Duluth (141) fell to the No. 4 spot and the University of New Hampshire (114) remained at No. 5.
This week's action features three set top-10 match-ups in the semifinals of conference play on Saturday (March 7), before the finals for ECAC Hockey, Hockey East and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association on Sunday (March 8). The College Hockey America tournament also takes place this weekend, with the championship game set for Saturday (March 7).
