COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The U.S. Women's Sitting Volleyball Team will be in Montreal this week to take on their Canadian counterparts at the Parapan American Zonal Championship.
The winners (women's) will qualify for the 2011 Parapan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The matches will be played May 28-30 at the McGill University Athletic Complex in Montreal.
The U.S. Women's Sitting Team was the silver medalist at the 2008 Paralympic Games. In March, the U.S. team played three exhibition matches against Canada at the Colorado Crossroads Tournament and swept all three matches. Canada did not have a women's sitting team until 2008.
