| DURHAM, N.H. – Jocelyne Lamoureux (Grand Forks, N.D.) scored twice and Molly Schaus (Natick, Mass.) was perfect in net to propel the 2009-10 U.S. Women's National Team to a 4-0 victory over the Hockey East All-Stars here today in the Qwest Tour at the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore Center Arena. With the win, the U.S. improved to 3-0-0-1 in the Qwest Tour, which continues on Dec. 12 in Denver against Canada. Team USA scored once in each of the first two periods, then tacked on another pair of tallies in the final frame, while outshooting Hockey East by a 43-7 margin. "It was a good, competitive game," said Mark Johnson, head coach for Team USA. "That was a great way to finish the last three-plus weeks of training. Now the team gets to relax and enjoy the holidays before hitting it hard in December." Jocelyne Lamoureux opened scoring in the first period when she stole the puck in the right faceoff circle in front of Hockey East goaltender Florence Schelling and put a wrist shot just under the crossbar at 6:34. Schelling held tight the remainder of the frame, stopping a total of 12 U.S. shots. In the second stanza, although the Americans again dominated the shot total by a 14-3 count, Kerry Weiland (Palmer, Alaska) was the lone goal scorer, as she pushed the puck in from the left post at the 17:46 mark after Genevieve Lacasse replaced Schelling in net for Hocke Gigi Marvin (Warroad, Minn.) put the U.S. up by three at 8:49 of the last period with a one-timer from the left post off a feed from Angie Keseley (St. Louis Park, Minn.) and Jocelyne Lamoureux scored goal No. 2 of the outing at 11:47 when she knocked in Karen Thatcher's (Blaine, Wash.) rebound. Schaus made seven saves in net for the U.S., while Schelling and Lacasse combined for 39 stops for Hockey East. NOTES: Team USA was 0-for-6 on the power play and Hockey East was 0-for-2 ...
