The Polish Open from 25th to 29th November had a significant influence on the ITTF December world rankings. China's 23 year old FAN Ying finally won her first title on the ITTF Pro Tour, after being runner-up in Magdeburg, Germany 2002 and 2005 as well as in Velenje, Slovenia earlier this year. FAN, semi-finalist at the Asian Championships in Lucknow, India ten day ago, progresses from no.19 to no.10 in the Women's world ranking.
