Egyptian teenager Heba El Torky maintained her giant-killing run in the $10,000 women’s WISPA World Tour event when she beat favourite Christina Mak 11-7, 11-8, 11-9 in the 29-minute final.
The 17-year-old third seed from Alexandria had ousted Hong Kong’s second seed Joey Chan in the previous round - and now celebrates her second Tour title success in two months after winning her maiden trophy at the China Open in Shanghai in October.
