On Wednesday afternoon Katarina Srebotnik and Ai Sugiyama become the latest high-profile seeds to stumble out of the US Open doubles competition, when they were defeated in straight sets by Nathalie Dechy and Dinara Safina. The exit of the Slovene-Japanese duo means all of the Top 4 seeds at this year's tournament have fallen prior to the semifinals and Chinese Taipei's Chan Yung-Jan and Chuang Chia-Jung are now the highest ranked team left in the competition.
