The royal family of tennis has arrived in Toronto as Serena and Venus Williams took to the Cynamon Family Practice Courts at Rexall Centre Sunday morning.
The Williams sisters will headline the field at Rogers Cup Toronto when main draw action begins Monday. Serena will participate in an exhibition doubles match on Opening Night and plays her first official match Wednesday night on Centre Court.
Also with a first-round bye, Venus is set to begin play when the second round starts on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Ranked No. 2 and No. 3 in the world, respectively, Serena and Venus have won a combined 18 Grand Slam championships and have teamed up to win nine Grand Slam doubles titles.
