The 2009 Janome NSW Open
The final opportunity to take part in a Bowls Australia grand prix on home soil for 2009 is just around the corner.

With just a week to go until entries close for the 2009 Janome NSW Open at Taren Point, a star-studded field is already starting to form, with some of the game’s biggest names in attendance.
Amongst the confirmed starters include defending women’s pairs champions Julie Keegan and Lynsey Armitage, Scottish international Kay Moran and 12-time grand prix winner Karen Murphy.
Staged at the Taren Point Bowling Club from October 6 to 9, the tournament features pairs and fours for both men and women and boasts an incredible $30,000 in prize money.
With an abundance of qualifying positions up for grabs, the opportunity to test yourself against the best-of-the-best has never been more opportunistic.
In the pairs and fours, 32 teams in the men’s and women’s fields will compete for four of the game’s most cherished titles.
Qualifying will be staged at Taren Point and surrounding clubs on October 3 and 4, with entries closing at 4pm on Friday, September 18.
