The 2007 Women's World Championship Play-offs (Qualification Europe)
The 2007 Women's World Championship Play-offs (Qualification Europe) took place this weekend 2/3 June, the next leg will be on 9/10 June 2007. The winners will qualify for the 2007 Women's World Championship (IHF event) which will take place in France from 2 to 16 December 2007.
Europe has a total of 12 places available. The following teams have already qualified for the final tournament:
RUS as defending champion, NOR, GER, HUN (directly qualified from the Euro 2006 in Sweden) and FRA as organiser. The remaining seven places for Europe will be decided in the play-off matches.
