LI Jie was stretched the full distance in her match against Elizabeta SAMARA, but prevailed in the end.
The experienced 42 year-old Elena TIMINA was up against 16 year-old Bernadette SZOCS in third match.
The brave Romanian had the heavy burden of 0:2 on her shoulders to deal with when she started the duel. She fought hard and went the full distance, even had a match ball, before TIMINA succeded.
In the penultimate stage Netherlands beat Hungary and Romania overcame Belarus.
