GB Sydney Olympian, Brentford’s Jodie Swallow has won the first round of the ETU Premium European Cup Series in Pontevedra Saturday 12th June in near perfect conditions in direct contrast to the previous two years held in the wet and cold . With 2012 looming Jodie’s performance continues the fantastic run of GB female success illustrating the nations strength in depth . Who can forget her awesome victory at last year’s ITU World Long Distance Triathlon Championships in Perth, Australia where Jodie blitzed the field by 11 minutes.
