The EHF Body of 1st Instance has dealt with the case of Renate Urne (HC Leipzig/ GER).
The body was called together following the direct disqualification of Renate Urne in the last seconds (59:57) of the Women's EHF Cup second leg match between HC Leipzig/ GER and HCM Baia Mare/ ROU, for an action of serious unsportsmanlike conduct. The game was played in the Last 16 Round of the Women's EHF Cup on 15 February 2009.
As a result, Urne has been suspended for one match of an EHF club competition, which means that she will not be eligible to play at the next EHF Cup match (Issy les Moulineaux/ FRA vs HC Leipzig/ GER on 15 March 2009).
