Led by co-captains Kate Gynther and Gemma Beadsworth, the talented squad, who are currently ranked second in the world, will play a round robin tournament against world number three China, Japan and New Zealand in Auckland before an Australian Under 20 team joins the quartet for the Sydney leg.
Gynther and goalkeeper Alicia McCormack will only take part in the Auckland leg, while Victoria Brown, Nanda Stoltz, Patrice O'Neill and Keesja Gofers will all come into the team for the Sydney round.
For goalkeeper Brown it will be her first time back in a national cap since breaking her leg at the beginning of the year. She missed the January Test Series against Italy.
Western Australian centre back Glencora Ralph, 22, is a member of both squads and said she couldn't wait to get together with the team and kick off the international season.
"I think it's a really strong squad that's been named for the World League," Ralph said.
"All our senior players are back which is great and it's the first series of games as a full team this year.
"It's the beginning of the (international) season and it's about spending time together and getting used to playing with each other again after three months with our National League teams."
The team's focus in 2011 is the FINA World Championships in Shanghai in July and Ralph believes the World League is an important part of the build-up.
"This tournament is an important segue for the rest of the season as we move to the World Championships."
The Greg McFadden coached team will leave for Auckland after the National Water Polo League finals that begin at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on Tuesday.
