And it contains some experienced swimmers in the likes of Lizzie Simmonds (Lincoln Vulcans), who competed at the senior World Championships earlier this year in Melbourne, and Ellen Gandy (Beckenham), a winner of five European Youth Olympic gold medals in 2005.
The team, under the guidance of Head Coach Bill Pilczuk (Swansea Performance), is smaller than in recent years but will be totally focused on maintaining Britain's impressive record over the past few championships.
Last year from Spain the team returned with 15 medals, a highest total by some margin for an overseas Championships, of which six were gold, seven silver and two bronze. The five-day event will get underway in Antwerp on 18th July.
British Swimming has also announced a team of three that will compete at the European Junior Open Water Championships in Milan in July. The team will be lead by Head Coach Sean Kelly.
