The best of the best in women’s golf will once again be battling it out on the fairways and greens of the Tanah Merah Country Club, from the 5th till the 8th of March 2009. The HSBC Women’s Champions invites only a select group of players who have won tournaments in the previous seasons to compete for the Champions Trophy.
World Number One and defending champion Lorena Ochoa of Mexico will be back to defend her crown. Along with Lorena will be a raft of other top international superstars. Players such as World Number Two Taiwan’s Yani Tseng and World Number Five Suzann Pettersen from Norway will all be hoping to win this coveted ‘Champion-of-Champions’ trophy.
