Shock Absorber, the UK’s leading sports bra brand, today announces its official partnership to The Co-operative World Netball Series, which takes place at Manchester’s M.E.N Arena on 9th – 11th October.
The Co-operative World Netball Series will see the top six netballing nations compete in the three-day event. With a number of innovative rule changes, the event promises to be a fast, ferocious and vibrant competition, raising the profile of the sport and attracting new participants and spectators.
Julia Nolan, Marketing Manager of Shock Absorber, says: “We are delighted to be involved with this exciting event and we believe that Shock Absorber sports bras are the perfect partner. Three quarters of British women who exercise regularly currently do not wear a sports bra and by doing this, risk the prospect of irreversible breast sag.”
She continues: “With netball being such an active sport, a sports bra is an essential piece of kit and we want to encourage players and spectators to think seriously about this to ensure they will be fully supported and able to perform at their best.”
Shock Absorber continually research and design innovative sports bra solutions to deliver the best comfort and performance. With a range of high performance sports bras from sizes A-HH, sporty women will be able to find a bra whether they’re training or competing at world level.
Nicola Moloney, The Co-operative World Netball Series Event Organiser, commented: “We are excited to have Shock Absorber on board as an official sponsor. We look forward to building a great relationship with the brand and making this event a great success.”
Shock Absorber is also the official sports bra supplier to England Netball Senior, Under 21 and National Excel Athletes.
The Co-operative World Netball Series is an IFNA Event supported by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), Manchester City Council, England Netball and UK Sport.
