Former world no. 1 Jelena Jankovic continued her good form in Qatar Ladies Open defeating Klara Zakopalova of Czech Republic in straight sets 6-2 6-5 to reach the semi-finals.
It will be the Serbian’s second semi-finals appearance in Doha after the 2007 edition where she was knocked out by Belgium’s Justin Henin.
Jankovic who was knocked out of the semi-finals of Dubai Tennis Championships last week, is looking for her first WTA title since March 2010 when she clinched Indian Wells title by defeating Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki in the final.
