In the second of the weekend’s two practice matches against Scotland at Belle Vue in Manchester, England’s women came from behind to draw 1-1.
Scotland had taken an early lead after a penalty corner effort from Catriona Forrest was deflected in off the stick of England defender Sam Quek but Alex Danson restored parity 15 minutes later with a reverse stick strike.
England’s women will next be in action in two fixtures against Spain on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June 2009 at Highfields Sports Club in Nottingham.
