At the final hurdle, Sayaka HIRANO had accounted for Hong Kong's JIANG Huajun (6-11, 11-8, 6-11, 11-8, 11-5, 8-11, 11-5) in a full distance seven games duel.
Sayaka HIRANO it was her fourth and revenge. On the one previous occasion that she had met JIANG Huajun on the ITTF Pro Tour she had suffered defeat, in 2007 she was beat by the Hong Kong player in four straight games in the final of the Chile Open in Santiago.
