Ruislip Eagles completed a treble of trophy successes this season by winning the Hummel British Cup against newcomers Cambridge. Firm favourites to take the title, the Eagles ran out emphatic winners after dominating the match with a 42-9 victory over a Cambridge side who lost several key players in their semi final victory over Tryst.
The match started slowly with both sides checking each other out, but Ruislip soon got into their stride after five minutes and played on the counter attack to great effect.
