BRNO (Olympics) -
Both players will be with the Russian squad when national team preparations get underway.
Hammon, an explosive scorer with CSKA Moscow, excelled in the EuroLeague Women but the 29-year-old Miller, who is also a citizen, may take the one naturalized spot that teams are allowed to have.
She is currently in Brno, the Czech Republic, where the EuroLeague Women Final Four is being staged. On Friday, she helped fire Spartak into the title game.
“Both will be at the camp and both have a chance,” said Natalia Hejkova, the Spartak head coach and Russia national team assistant to Igor Grudin.
“We will see.”
