Following the Active People survey 2008 which showed that Rounders had the biggest % increase in participation of any sport and the funding announced to us by Sport England, we find ourselves in a position to help develop the game of Rounders and to offer opportunities to play, especially for women returnees to sport.
In order to target areas for growth we plan to work with County Sports Partnerships to identify areas of need.
We are particularly interested in school club links and to work with Sport Unlimited to enable schools to join in the initiative providing Exit routes for players officials and young leaders and involving community groups..
