Rocky Mountain Rollergirls 303.931.8032 | | ABOUT THE W.F.T.D.A. The WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) is a nationwide organization created for the advancement of roller derby. The WFTDA promotes and fosters the sport of women's flat track derby by facilitating the development of athletic ability, sportwomanship, and goodwill among member leagues. The governing philosophy is "by the skaters, for the skaters."
Women skaters are primary owners, managers, and operators of each member league and of the association. Operational tasks include setting standards for rules, seasons, and safety, and determining guidelines for the national and international athletic competitions of member
leagues.
All member leagues have a voice in the decision-making process, and agree to comply with the governing policies.

 Since August 2004, the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls have been skating as Denver's original sanctioned roller derby league. With the mission of having inter-league bouts with WFTDA teams across the nation, the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls travel team, the 5280 Fight Club, is the best of the best.
With three home teams -- The Contenders -- The Red Ridin' Hoods and The Sugar Kill Gang -- the ranks of The Rocky Mountain Rollergirls are growing with women who have the strength, fierceness and agility that it takes to play derby.
