Who is tougher, stronger, smarter, more agile?
Cops or firefighters?
Come find out and cheer for your profession at the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls' Emergency Services Appreciation Scrimmage at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, April 13, at the Bladium Sports Club, 2400 Central Park Boulevard in the Stapleton Development in Denver.
This is our thanks for the work *you* do! A team of derby players representing cops will wear black and will skate for the honor of Colorado police organizations. A team in red will represent
firefighters for the scrimmage, blocking and fighting to ensure that they come out on top. This is also a great opportunity to learn the game!
These teams will feature some of Colorado's most ferocious and fast roller derby athletes. Among them at least one real police officer and a former volunteer
firefighter, who will be captaining teams for the day.
The Rocky Mountain Rollergirls are members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association and is Colorado's original roller derby league. RMRG has two travel teams that take on the nation here at home and at away games. Home teams host other league home teams, travel in expedition bouts, and include members of the travel teams.
Please share our invitation with your organization. We can't wait to play in, and for, your honor!
Join the girls for fast paced derby action at The Bladium (2400 Central Park Blvd., Denver) at 6 p.m. Admission is free, but a $5 donation to the league for operations would be appreciated!
