| DENVER - The Rocky Mountain Rollergirls again sold out the Fillmore Auditorium, proving that roller derby is the hottest ticket in Denver. The March 6 bout is the second RMRG bout of the 2010 season and features an intraleague home team battle between RMRG's Sugar Kill Gang and RMRG's Red Ridin' Hoods. At the sold-out season opener on Feb. 6, the Sugars bested RMRG's Dooms Daisies in the opening volley for the 2010 league championship. Tickets were completely snapped up for the March 6 bout by noon day of the bout. RMRG looks forward to another sell-out crowd on April 3, when the league's all-star team, RMRG's 5280 Fight Club, will host Albuquerque's Duke City Derby at the Fillmore. Fight Club, which is the team that represents the league in national sanctioned play and in regional and national tournaments, has already soundly trounced two teams on the road. Fight Club beat Bellingham (Wash.) Roller Betties 305 to 31 and San Fransisco's Bay Area Derby 195 to 17 at the Wild West Showdown meet on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28. RMRG last year earned a trip to the national tournament in Philadelphia and concluded the 2009 season fourth in the nation of 79 ranked, sanctioned Women's Flat Track Derby Association leagues. RMRG's Angela "Whipity Pow" Delagarza also won the Derby News Network's 2009 Rookie of the Year award. The Rocky Mountain Rollergirls features six teams, including:
