Enjoy a selection of quotes from gymnasts and coaches after the Women's Team Final at the 45th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Nanning (CHN) on Wednesday, October 8, 2014!

Simone BILES (USA) - Gold
On winning the gold medal:

"Tonight was really fun and I think we put some of our best athletes up in order of our competition. We went out and did what we do in training and just had some fun with it. We prepared really well. We've been preparing since September 15th when we had a camp and all got together and then we had trials for this. We've been preparing all together since, and it's just so exciting to see all the hard work pay off."

Aimee BOORMAN (USA) - Coach
On the competition:

"The competition today was great - so many talented athletes from so many different countries and it's such an honour to be able to come out and compete against them. Our team has worked really hard in their preparation to come out here and try to hit all their routines, and we think they did a very good job tonight."

SHANG Chunsong (CHN) - Silver

"The performance on Balance Beam was quite satisfying, except the landing. I didn't stand firmly when I landed. The performance on the Uneven Bars was especially bad. Maybe I wasn't as aggressive as I should be.

YAO Jinnan (CHN) - Silver
On the crowd support:

"The audience were so enthusiastic, that made me a little nervous, and I could not control my body through the air, and I just could not hold my motion."

CHEN Siyi (CHN) - Silver
On the mistake she made on the Uneven Bars:

"I didn't perform well on the Uneven Bars. Days ago, I caught a cold and my strength was not so good. I fell from the high bar and my performance did have an effect on the team's result. We still had a quite large gap from Team USA."

HUANG Yubin (CHN) - Coach
On the championships:

"It's great to have the opportunity to compete in the championships and congratulations to the USA team and Russian team. I just hope that the routines of (our) girls could be smoother. From the (Incheon) Asian Games to this championships, we have trained a lot. We have been fully prepared and we have overcome sickness and tiredness. From qualifications to the final, the girls have done their best."

On sending CHEN Siyi (CHN), who caught a cold and made several mistakes during the competitions, instead of BAI Yawen (CHN):

"We made the arrangements according to the team's needs. BAI Yawen is a young athlete of course. However, according to the events, we tend to send YAO Jinnan (CHN) and HUANG Huidan (CHN). Who was going out depended on the team's needs."

Aliya MUSTAFINA (RUS) - Bronze

"I told them that we needed to fight. Did we fight today? Of course we did."

On Russia being low on the board for the first rotations:

"We tried not to look at the board. The most important thing for us was to complete everything honorably, desirably without falls or coarse mistakes."

Daria SPIRIDONOVA (RUS) - Bronze
On winning bronze at her first World Championships:

"I still can't believe we have made it. I am so thrilled and happy. I wish though we did a better job on Beam."
