Serena Williams swept past Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova to reach her tenth Wimbledon semifinal. 6-4, 6-4 in an hour and thirteen minutes.
Unseeded Elena Vesnina raced into her career-first Grand Slam semifinal at Wimbledon after a straight forward two sets win over Dominika Cibulkova.
Venus Williams made it through her match against Yaroslava Shvedova in straight sets 7-6(5), 6-2

"What a tough day on court! The first set I had so many opportunities but she played so well," Williams said. "When you walk to the net as the winner that's the goal.
